Who we are

ESL Humanizer (“we”, “us”) provides a tool that rewrites text you submit into more natural English without changing its meaning. This policy explains what we collect when you use eslhumanizer.com and why.

What we collect

• Account info. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google to create your account.
• Text you submit. The text you paste in is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a rewrite, and optionally to an AI-detection provider (GPTZero) to score it. We do not use your submitted text to train any model, and we don't store it beyond what's needed to show you the result.
• Payment info. Subscriptions are handled by Whop. We never see or store your card details — Whop shares only your email, subscription status and plan with us so we can unlock your account.
• Usage data. To enforce free-tier daily limits, we track a lightweight, anonymous counter tied to a browser cookie (and, for logged-out use, your IP address) and, for signed-in users, your account. This resets every day and isn't used for anything else.

How we use it

We use this data to run the service: generating rewrites, enforcing plan limits, authenticating you, processing payments and providing support. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties beyond the processors above (Anthropic, Whop, GPTZero, Google) strictly to operate the product.

Data retention

Account and subscription records are kept for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing us — see Contact below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us and we'll handle your request.
